The years between eighteen and twenty-eight are the hardest, psychologically. It’s then you realize this is make or break, you no longer have the excuse of youth, and it is time to become an adult – but you are not ready. — Helen Mirren (via imnotchaste)

pretty pathetic and sad how im in my third semester of college and realizing im still in high school mode
always told myself i’d major in labor and delivery nursing if im still clueless about my major by the time fourth semester swings by before i realized that i’m forcing a major on myself not for me, but to please others
and we have this whole misconstrued idea of how you are supposed to enter college- and friends!
there is nothing wrong with being behind in school
not everyone has the time or the commitment to devote 15 hours a semester to studies
not everyone knows what they want to major in the second -even years- after they graduate
not everyone is ready for college fresh out of high school
don’t let anybody make you feel inferior for taking a path that is comfortable for you
you will be fine, it is YOUR future, not theirs.
